If you play hard, the Side Kick's full size down-tilting blades were designed specifically with the strong playboater in mind. This blade angle lets your stroke enter the water sooner and respond with maximum power. With less area at the throat, the blades load and unload on command and you won't trip over the blade when making vertical/cross-deck moves.
Although the Side Kick was designed for playboating, its powerful blades are well liked by creek boaters, too.
Larger Side Kick blades are a great choice for stronger, well conditioned paddlers
Down-tilt blades enter teh water sooner for more initial power and won't get in your way for freestle moves
